I want to come back to this - if only to keep the Baltia loving public happy and hungry - and add a couple of more thoughts on your what must happen, list.
Unequivocally, The Audit must occur - name change or not - Without #1 you don't get #2. Now this representation of proceeding in a timely manner.. who writes the script for them. I think we are coming to a point, even with the most faithful, that this is getting a little ridiculous. It wasn't me who set expectation, I took my cue from the company. I do not recall them saying it would take 90 days... Now think about it. I was explained that there are essentially 4 levels of reviews here - Internal Accounts, Internal Auditors, External Accountants/audit prep team, External Auditors. I believe there was a slide in there deck covering this. As a matter of fact, the emphasis was placed on the new External Auditor as the final piece of the puzzle. I am sure members of the first three parts of the chain did not start in May, I would assume much of this was done prior to or in parallel. I think at this time - "Timely Manner" takes on a life of its own. We are coming up on yet another reporting date. Are they waiting to drop them all at once? or will we miss another reporting date? AT that point - someone will have to redefine "Timely Manner" for me.
Aside - I remember a few years ago when LT got all pissed off about missing yet another date.... ha - good times...
We are 30 days out from the acquisition closing, give or take.... something has to give... and I am trying to make sense of this... We need to pay 6mil of which 1mil deposit already exists. That 1 mil comes from the Pref Share sale.. Which also did not go to support current overhead. So how are they getting all this done? And what does it cost to get us there? So to get my head straight - in the next 30 days, they need to release 2 years of corrected crap, perform a name change (which can take some time if there is an issue), raise 6-50 million dollars and close the Songbird deal... this does not even account for Sheryl's comment to the question when asked how soon after announcement can you be ready to fly - 120 days. Announcement I reiterate...
I am as optimistic as anyone, but there are times when I think about what I want to type and shake my head that I am typing it... Like this - Are they going to do one giant Orgasmic blast on the airline world? I hope not.... you cannot build name recognition that way, and to have one plane to boot? I am hoping there is much more to the story... somewhere - though all the silence - i am missing something.... Hey I can wait with the best of them, but it would be nice to have the evidence of movement...
The only other concern I had that caught me right away is that number 3 and 4 cannibalize each other... It serves 2 masters - and both serve as support number 2. this is all still pretty awesome...
