Your concerns are well warranted.
MS is demonstrated to occur after EBV infection, Parkinsons after influenza. Alzheimer's symptoms induced by covid as well.
Covid infection induces a host of cardiovascular disease, from arrhythmia and MI to CVA.
Don't forget new onset diabetes and renal injury.
I don't know if Covid or PASC is associated with liver disease, but I haven't look either.
There is no way around it, Covid sucks, even with mild initial cases. Vaccines have save millions of lives, yet millions have still died with untold numbers of lives changed forever.
Effective treatments for acute covid and PASC still desperately needed.
