Sad to say, I've seen articles saying "brain fog" carries all the earmarks of Alzheimer's: hyper-phosphorylated tau, neurofilament light evidencing neurons choked by tau tangles, and whatever chemical it is that shows glial cells have been choked too.

Once that has started, who knows.
