Yes. Asymptomatic may not be the correct way to think about a viral reservoir, but unknown effects can be caused down the road by virus.
And dementia, neurological disorders? Yes. One way that we know virus does this, is by making the blood/brain barrier to become leaky. In this way, other neurological disorders can gain an advantage, even if not the virus itself.
