Recast Capital, a pioneering platform dedicated to supporting emerging managers in the venture capital field, has unveiled its second cohort for the Accelerate Program. This program is uniquely designed to elevate the success of funds led by women and non-binary individuals, offering them essential resources, educational content, and a strong network of support.

Launched in early 2023, the Recast Accelerate Program aims to help diverse managers effectively raise and operate funds of high institutional quality. Each selected fund benefits from resources such as executive coaching, professional development, and financial support of $100,000, all geared toward enhancing their operational capabilities.

The latest cohort welcomes general partners (GPs) from 25 different funds. Notably, every fund participating has at least one GP who identifies as a woman or non-binary. Additionally, there’s a rich diversity among participants, with 28% identifying as Black, 20% as Asian, 4% as LatinX, 12% as LGBTQIA+, and 32% as first-generation US citizens. The focus areas of these funds encompass various sectors, including ClimateTech, Artificial Intelligence, FinTech, and Health and Wellness.
