What you've said could definitely account for some of the short selling by others. I believe that two things are going on simultaneously (1) Fife-Paulson financing plus (2) market manipulation. The two are not mutually exclusive.

So, let's say that Fife-Paulson accounts for a good deal of short selling. That just means, as you have also pointed out, that market manipulation via Citadel or other hedgies keeping a lid on price is that much easier. The charts have been showing for a long time that manipulation is going on (not normal price fluctuation and trends), and short positions are now over 35,000,000 shares and increasing. It is a fact that short positions have increased this year, and with average volume at 2.853 million daily, days to cover is over 12 days. When the LEG UP in price of CytoDyn occurs, they will have to cover with major losses.

Why would they do this when there is so little to gain and so much for them to lose? There are many reasons. Those who are funding the hedgies (entities that have vested interests) may wish to keep the price low to just deny funding to our favorite company or to eventually gain better licensing, partnership, or buyout deals with us, or simply to try to prevent our company from going on its own. They may be willing to accept those losses to accomplish this goal.

So, toxic financing and market manipulation may both be contributing to ridiculously low prices not even remotely reflecting company value or potential. As I've said before, studies, data, licensing, partnership or buyout, etc, will bring in more funding, and the price will make a powerful move upward. Then the price will be unleashed, and the market manipulators will go away.

Do your own diligence of course, but I'll keep buying shares until the leg up and then hold my shares and stay invested in this wonderful company and its miracle molecule.

Go Longs and keep on keeping on
