Your assessment aligns 100% with what I have thought for several years re: warrants / financing weighing via valid shorts against existing discounted longs, with low likelihood of nefarious big pharma actors given the risks involved for them (legally and via short squeeze if some other big pharma buys Cydy out or partners with them and Cydy uplists and game over for nefarious behavior) and it’d frankly be more profitable for them to align with CYDY via partnership than not imo.
I interact with Citadel frequently and have been on the institutional side of things for a long long time. Marketmakers are in the business of minimizing risk asap and capturing spread as best as possible. It’s largely automated. Overnight risk in a biotech or any other company for a market maker is not how they make $$. Building large short positions over a long time period is not how they stay in business. The conspiracy theories are largely unfounded imo. Your theories have strong basis in reality and are all profit generating. That’s what makes sense. Fwiw, 35mm short interest actually isn’t much relative to the float. GameStop squeezed because it had nearly 100% short interest vs float. The drivers here will be partnership, approval, phase successes, and/or buyout. All are strong possibilities given what we know about Leronlimab.
The market is bigger than any one or group of actors. Price can be manipulated in the short but not long term. Fundamentals will be the ultimate driver of long term price direction imo.
I’ve seen Leronlimab save lives first hand. I’ve done nothing but accumulate whenever I can. Buy what you know - this is a drug I personally know can work miracles. That’s what I’m buying. Can’t time it, can only place an educated bet and let it play out however it will.
