Jake22 --- you are overlooking something said directly from Dr. J that could be said very much supports the core of what you're saying.
Dr. J went from saying about oncology:
It holds best potential for significant partnership, and/or an approval.

It now also adds a follow-on comment of will look to make a finance raise if needed. That comment means we need clarity of conclusions so our share price can advance.
I 100% thought the very thing you mention, just might be occuring. Not a closed door yet, per say, but resistence. Even though we have historical leverage for humanity.
Personally have always posted a preferencecof going @ it alone on a confirmation trial --- it's historical for a large molecule targeting CCL5/CCR5. We right now easily have enough $$. Our CRO can handle 75-100, etc., & most importantly, not even a BP has ever run a LL trial. I prefer we do it, but do agree with your comments. Especially when 3 times you had zero offers & settled for stunning amounts.
I've seen those type of legal bill boards that compare the "offer" to what $$ a case was settled for.
Ok, i digress & yes, greed is very powerful....
