I am sorry to lead you into thinking that I think my doctor is an idiot was formed from our short conversation about CCR5 expression in various ailments. My doctor has earned his derogatory moniker through his dismissive attitude, misdiagnoses, God complex, and quite a few other reasons. You are correct about us seeking another doctor and I will offer him no grace. He is an Osteopath, that specializes in internal medicine. He runs a family practice office and, currently, is our primary care physician.
Given his education and his practice, he should be very well versed in the immune system. However, that is not the way he responded, to one simple question. Obviously, you think this is kind of normal, in a sizable medical provider population. That is too bad. I agree that may be the case. That is what prompted me to add that into my previous post
