If you go to Max’ LinkedIn pay some attention to what he has under his LLC. It may be the vehicle he used to shake hands with Cytodyn to come on board in a consulting capacity. If so how he word-smithed that entry may cast some light on what he is thinking.
Absent a PR or concrete announcement I am reduced to speculation based on the tea-leaves but it is certainly plausible there could be an important collaboration that is developed. The Gates foundation has a real interest in HIV and has a deep pocket. Cytodyn has the drug that might ultimately prove to be a functional cure but needs money. Max is the integration point with vast connections in the HIV space and wants to take treatment to the next level. Leronlimab is that quantum leap.
