The rule does not imply positions have a restriction to close!
There is no notice from FINRA that suggests this action either. FINRA is the only entity to enforce a restriction. Even the SEC cant do it because CRGP is not under suspension.
Put it all in writing and note their response just in case future litigation is required for resolution.
This can be considered a breach of fiduciary responsibility with misleading directions and misappropriate custodial handling of your personal property.
