What an insane post. We don't need more cheap
Post# of 123696
We don't need more cheap landscapers and nannies, the only jobs most illegals are capable of doing.
Due to the drought, many fields in CA remain barren and there are no jobs for illegals in agriculture.
They don't speak English so Americans are forced to waste their time learning Spanish so they can hire them.
Many of the illegals are single mothers, often with two or more children. These women have nothing when they arrive, not even basic necessities for the family. These mothers cannot work or support their families, they don't speak English and would need someone to look after their children if they could find a job.
The illegal and often unaccompanied children are a major problem. They crowd our schools and disrupt teaching because they can't speak English.
Estimated Cost of K-12 Public Education for Unaccompanied Alien Children
September 2014
September is coming and so is the start of a new school year. This year, there will be almost 37,000 “unaccompanied” alien minors who will be enrolling in public school in the United States.
These kids will require special Limited English Proficient (LEP) classes conducted in Spanish, or in other languages indigenous to Central America, as well as other taxpayer-funded services, such as free and reduced school meals.
Once again the costs of federal government’s failed immigration policies are borne at the local level, and the nation’s public school system is where the costs are most visible.

“Texans are hardworking and generous people, but the cost of illegal immigration is an unconscionable burden on the taxpayers of our great state. If we use the minimum estimated costs for services Texas provides to unlawfully present and undocumented aliens, taxpayers are shelling out an estimated $855 million every year,” said Attorney General Paxton. “Texas will always welcome those who legally immigrate, but we cannot continue forcing taxpayers to foot the bill for individuals who skirt the law and skip the line.
