A lot has changed over the years
1.) A number of people Miracast (project) their PC, Laptop, Tablet, Phone, etc onto the TV screen. This allows them to watch TV streamed off the internet and gives them all the functionality of a mouse, keyboard, etc. I always do it when on vacation so I an watch what I want and now many TV support it.
2.) The word 'TV' is a term that has gotten broader over the years. Now people say they are watching 'TV' on their computer meaning not the TV device but TV like programming. A lot of people now watch 'TV' on their PC, Laptop, Tablet, Phone, etc. I've had this discussion with my kids years ago. Why would you want to watch 'TV' on your laptop with a little 11" screen when you can relax and watch it on a 55". Dad I am relaxed and I like watching it on my little screen, thank you very much.
Now the question is, what percentage of people do? You can search around the internet and see the percentage keeps going up
