When I first invested in an interactive TV company (IATV) back in the 90's the idea was there but the TV hardware wasn't ready and the company failed.
Fast forward to today, my new LG OLED TV I just bought has a remote control that has built in "mouse" like features that allows me to scroll around the TV screen and "click" on icons buttons.
So, I would say that the "consumer TV" is now ready for Shoppable TV and the consumer is ready for VerbTV!
