If it is sarcasm, please read a small sample of scientific papers in the links below (around 60 if I am correct):
There is an AMPLE body of evidence that CCR5 is a therapeutic target for cancer. If one can stop metastasis one could even argue than one can cure cancer. As a matter of fact, early detection facilitates this enormously (as metastasis interruption would do).
