speaking of aspects that don't pass the smell test ..
it is alway interesting to see .. say a 10000 sized trade on bid (buy) be split into either 2 or 3 fills .. as noted a few x previously .. imo this is done because NR
is so significantly upside down .. these trades are split between 2 or 3 MMs for actual reporting to Finra for the MM Monthly on IPIX .. which is why when i see
*trades* of x size go off .. i suspect it's wash trading and/or a targeted trade .. crews will flip *shares* back and forth between CEs (colluding entities) .. and what i watch for is how close price points on them are ..
as noted via link above from my notes .. wash trading imo done for both volume maintenance (keep those avgs going up) and to dilute daily reg sho .. which is proving problematic for NR .. see below
