OWCP on a few occasions had the highest class of sponsorship for a conference, which I believe cost 6 figures, I believe they'd be far better off with a more minor level of sponsorship there, and webcasting to anyone interested on several opportunities, and they'd still save money.
I know the company has attended a variety of cannabis based conferences, but I frankly don't know that they had the opportunity to present there, and webcast the presentation. I don't know if they're welcome to join the BIO organization, but as I understand it, you pay to webcast presentations from their conferences, and it's a good way to communicate with investors. As an investor watching the webcast it was impossible to tell how large an audience attended the presentation, but in at least one case I was told the audience was small as an investor I corresponded with attended. My point is, such organizations routinely host conferences which permit all interested investors to learn about what they're doing, and the presentation is normally achieved on their website for weeks or more.
It's clear to me that OWCP's management prefers to play their cards close to the vest, but if they wish the support of investors in the company, they need to change this attitude and work to enhance shareholder value by interesting people to become shareholders.
