"Cherry sold out at a big loss" ,...and what did Cherry base that on ? their own assumptions and speculations and wild ass guesses. no facts that came from the real world just the persons own thoughts.
something like,...'if OWC is doing this (r/s) , then this is what it means (they don't care about me, the shareholder) , and since i've figured out what the r/s means i'm no longer willing to stand idly for OWC management to screw me more (i'm not going to stand by and have a complete loss so i'm exiting) '
had Cherry donated to the gofundme trip pertinent information could have provided Cherry a more informed basis to know how to navigate the paper loss.
and maybe if Cherry had of waited and not created the actual real capital loss Cherry could have decided 'i'm down 95% i might as well hang in there',..and by hanging in there this presents itself as a clue to what OWC management might really be doing and not what a shareholders thoughts are about what they think is going on.
something like this little piece of information that totally replaces any assumptions or speculations that Cherry or You have.

you wrote,... They presented themselves well, but success has been limited, and some no longer are in business. Therefore, I place little faith on such visits.
at some point one /an investor cannot base their decisions on the past. as the saying goes,..."Past performance does not guarantee future success."
your past observations are just that,..past observations and have nothing to do with what OWC is moving towards.
all you really have is your own thoughts you are banging around,...good luck with that !
my grandfather had a very appropriate saying for what i'm see you doing,...
"If you are in a deep hole and the sand is hitting your back, have enough common sense to quit digging."
would now be a good time ?
