What the disagreement is about is: what the FINRA number means. Your interpretation is that the daily FINRA number (the percentage) reflects the number of actual real trades, whereas the non-short percentage trades are wash trades used to manipulate price.
Sox does not agree with that interpretation.
Neither of you is going to change opinions, so can we drop this? Each of you is addressing two completely different things, and we're going to keep going around in circles because there are two different conversations going on here.
On another note, it has been shown because of posts and PMs made under the wrong identity that the phteven identity is used by scottsmith, who has been banned from this board. It would be better not to respond to this person, even if he is now pretending to be (or even, if he actually is) holding a long position. I and many others do not forget or forgive the kinds of manipulation and bashing that we have seen from these various identities, and the other ones that we have identified as being his.
