I think you can thank liberals like Nixon for the EPA and the clean air and waters acts. Acid rain used to be a problem before the States creating it and the 'down winders' collaborated, with federal, help to end it.
You can thank TR for our national parks that the GOP always seem to want to sell off parts of for drilling and fracking.
The notion that liberals concerns about a fish make them wrong to oppose allowing the coal companies to dump more of their sluice into rivers is absurd.
