I agree with both you and Krisandtillys view. I can tell you this, and its Kris's number 1 comment on his post #74461 (Financing). Foley still has two weeks to go on home confinement and then once on probation limited to travel within Northern CA districts only.
IMO anything he has to do with financial agreements has to run through probation. I believe he cannot enter into any contracts with out running it through probation first. Hence a delay in the process on new content, contracts and etc.
I know we lost a lot of forward motion with Davids departure, and budget being tight that certain person "Don" hired for marketing last summer could not be afforded at the time.
So we move forward and the discussion with Ivan and his committal to NTEK/UltraFlix in IMO has been a picture perfect fit! There is much to be now considered in how to move forward and Ivan is driving this machine to a whole new level with the addition of Illumination and SWIG. Share holders meeting confirmed moved to summer as I'll admit we are in a rebuild situation and the rebuild is not complete. Am I disappointed? Hell yes, but do I think things are on much more solid ground now that David has returned and Ivan has been brought on aboard. He no doubt see's the monster potential of UltraFlix and this has been several months in the planning I think since last Sept. possibly longer knowing the relationship between David and Ivan goes way back.
As we have witnessed by industry pace 4K has officially been adopted going forward and HDR enhances the entertainment value 3 fold. Who has the eye on the prize and will be called the Big Dog on the block with this technology? N-T-E-K !
Im still of the opinion UltraFlix will get its fame when timing is right, just watch! I have validated so much to this point I don't see failure what so ever. After all the negative pitfalls that have taken place and the latest being the loss of an icon Al Stone NTEK is still surviving.
Last thing, the 24/7 live is going to awesome with just some it what is will deliver being shorts and movies. This will be the central nervous system of UltraFlix bet on it! Look for a calendar releases of content on the UF website much like the remastering schedule for 4K studios on Foleys random thoughts page next month. GO NTEK !!!
