I believe that NTGL is doing the same thing the NTEK is doing with SWIG/Liberty...
They have a relationship that is currently in development with some organization and creative people that have a lot to add to NTGL's efforts, and that these organizational/creative features are things that add strong forces that NTGL does not have.
This is David. He and NTEK/NTGL are responsible for the vehicle and original design/development. Beyond that they need help and they know it.
It would appear to me that the arrangement for these partnerships require the new partner to make significant investments to justify their existence. None of these arrangements require the partners to make us wealthy at this point.
Certainly there is risk here. We have to hope that David has the right connections. He obviously believe he has/had the right ideas and the ability to create, and then we need to believe that David is a good judge of the path forward and the skills/character of the partner. Now we need to decide whether or not Ivan is as strong a performer in his area of influence as David has been in his. Then we also need to hope that David has chosen well for NTGL.
The first thing I thought about when Ivan's name as CEO was introduced was K&T's earlier advocacy of the idea and the appearance of the Swig Stick and the Nuvola, followed by the introduction of SWIG TV. Overall there are a lot of smart intuitive people on this board who have serious chips on the table, and I think that the mods have done a pretty good job of enforcing a god and respectful attitude on this board.
If David is successful, it is my belief that the end result will value NTEK/NTGL strongly and fairly, and that the combination will be a win/win. For example, the new partners may end up owning 50% of the future, but we will be comfortable with our percentage and our new value and the new vehicle will break the chains of the shorts. It could be 40/60 or 60/40 or it could include Liberty and make it a threesome.
