They blow a lot of hot air around trying to tell the people what they believe the people want to hear. The latest polls have the pro-legalization crowd at 60% now, so it won't be long and the money will change her mind, or the mind of whatever pulpit thumper we end up with. Most of what they say they're going to do or undo never actually gets accomplished, but in politics it's better to look good and sound good than it is to do the right things.
I watched a documentary last night (flipping to and from the game) that detailed the underhanded efforts of large power to squash solar power companies , instead of buying/merging with them and boosting the effort to advance the game for us and our posterity. They buy who they can and bury those they can't. That's what determines what get's done and what doesn't.
So, MJ WILL be legalized much sooner than naysayers in Washington DC would lead people to believe, because the money from that market will be just as green as that which big power and fuel companies have swayed them with. Guaranteed!
