give up potentially valuable patents to help fund operations and defense costs
I believe that was averted by Sullivan accepting options as a payment for their services and as far as the giving up of certain patents is concerned we can see through the quarterly filings and no PR statements that CTIX has not sold any assets including patents in order to fund operations.It appears that although the situation may have necessitated such drastic measures,CTIX had found a way to avoid such a scenario.I give Leo all the credit for that.
