Reverse splits are definitely not uncommon in mergers and this is the one scenario that makes the most sense to me. Fred kept reiterating on 2 calls I made to him that everything would be done at once- an uplist, a reverse split and funding. How in the world would AMBS do an uplist? - they cant even file a 10-Q. A merger with a Nasdaq company would accomplish this - it would explain a lot of things. As far as AMBS shareholders, our upside might be greatly reduced, but it could save the company.
