This backs up the claim I made the other day regarding UltraFlix and why people will pay more for it (especially if it includes sports). The cable providers have been charging more for HD for years. They even have to convert HD down to SD for those who don't want to pay for HD since everything is produced in HD or above now. Essentially providing SD costs the cable companies more than providing HD since they have to use some process to downgrade it. All you have to do is look at this fact to realize that higher quality is BIG business.
