Ive been watching this stock for quite some time;
Post# of 281
Maybe if I write out my thoughts it will explain where im coming from:
For $25.. we can buy 4 cans. Each can makes nine 3" pancakes. Right there i see a problem.
A 3" pancake? Who eats a 3" pancake? Is this after shrinkage while its cooking?
Also.. this means that for one can on a typical Saturday breakfast for a family of 4, each individual can get only 2 and a quarter, 3" pancakes. Thats ridiculous.
On top of that, those pancakes cost $6.25? I can go to the supermarket or kmart and buy a 32oz box of pancake mix for TWO DOLLARS and can make SIXTY 4" pancakes.
Listen, dont take my word for it as this is not investment advice. If someone is invested in NHMD to make profits, i say go for it. We dont have to like the product in order to invest. But as a business, NHMD is, in my opinion, a flop of an idea.
Many of us live paycheck to paycheck. Who is going to pay $25 for 36 tiny pancakes when we can pay $2 for SIXTY??? Sure, i know people out there can afford it. But even for those people who CAN afford Nate's pancakes... the idea is ludicrous.
On top of all this.. did anyone catch the major lie in the marketing??

No preparation or cleanup...
No preparation? Do we just squirt the mix in our mouth? Last time i checked we still have to prepare the kitchen, get the pan, turn on the oven.
No clean up? Do the dishes wash themselves? Do we not eat off plates? Are we supposed to eat Nates pancakes with paperplates only?

..we've made breakfast easier for your busy mornings.
..riiiight. So we pump out some pancakes from a can (three inches), throw the dishes in the sink, and when we come home from work... the dishes are still there. We still have dishes regardless of using Nates product or the boxed stuff. Duh!
Personally, i would rather open a box of mix, add milk, stir, and pour.. knowing i spent only $2 compared to a monstrous $25 for a pancake.
Am i the only one seeing the issues here?
Like i said.. if someone sees NHMD as a pure INVESTMENT... i say go for it. Make profits. That's why we're here. But when push comes to shove, the business model, concept, and product is absolutely ridiculous.
$25 for pancakes in a can. With cleanup. Ridiculous.
