'Reilly Slams MN Gov for Throwing 'Rhetorical Bomb
Post# of 65628
In tonight's Talking Points, Bill O'Reilly criticized Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton for making a provocative statement following the officer-involved death of Philando Castile.
Dayton said at a news conference that he thinks Castile would still be alive if he had been white, and said that his state must confront the reality of racism.
O'Reilly reacted: "Dayton may be right in theory, but you do not throw a rhetorical bomb like that just hours after a horrendous death at the hands of police. That's just dangerous to law enforcement."
He said that it's Dayton's job to provide calm, not inflame an already tense situation. "Huge mistake on his part," he said.
O'Reilly also said that Dallas shooter Micah Johnson was "a hater and a terrorist," and that Black Lives Matter is essentially a "hate America" group.
