My own thoughts:
I'm confident amarantus will be succesfull eventually and especially with ESS.
Now my concern is the toxics and the increasing outstanding shares (currently around 30million i believe).
with what has been said by Gerald that we should be valued like our peers with around a 250-300million market cap, lets assume 300million for now.
so we should be valued around $10 (but we are not because of the toxics!).
(30million outstanding shares x $10 = 300 million market cap).
Now if the toxics keep diluting us and the outstanding shares keep on growing and i'm going to take the absurd route here to make my point clearer, so for example lets say we dilute another 70 million shares, so a total of 100millions outstandings shares we have now.
That means 100million outstanding shares x $3 = 300 million market cap.
So are share price if valued properly will be only $3.
Its gets worse of course if we get more diluted etc...
For those that bought around the $28 dollars (like me) and did not have the funds to average down (i did average down hard at 45 cents but my average is still close to $3 still i believe), the investors will likely won't see their original investment of $28 dollars back because of the dilution by the toxics thats going on.
I might make my post to complicated for some to understand but the simple point i'm making and what tanis is also saying from what i understood is that the more shares that get diluted the less return we will see with our investment.
So taking out the toxics asap is KEY!
I know amarantus is trying to do so and hopefully they will succeed.
My other thought is this:
From the interview yesterday i believe gerald will most likely spin out ESS to another company.
IF that happens i hope we get some much needed cash instead of shares for ESS so we can remove the toxics AND have working capital so that we can move the therapeutic pipeline forward and that our share price can start recovering from the damage done by the toxic investors.
It will be very interesting to see how plans will unfold with ESS.
We have the potential of greatness but our fates lies in the hands of management.
I personally would sell or partner an asset (or multiple) to take out the toxics and to create shareholder value.
Also on option would be if management would spin out ESS and give shareholders a share dividend in the new company with lots of value and liquidity.
A reward for loyal shareholders.
We'll see how things will turn out the next few weeks/months.
I would love to hear others opinions on this matter, lets hear some more thoughts and debate
Have a nice weekend everyone!
