Question really is what will be left for those who have been here the longest? Anybody that was invested in this pre-split will be pretty much wiped out by the time they succeed. At one point, were this to become a 1 billion dollar company my shares would have been worth close to half a million (not much to some, but a small fortune to me). Assuming the new authorized shares get used up eventually, those same shares will be worth about 20k (less than my initial investment) if this company every reaches a billion dollar market cap. Now the first scenario was really only ever best case, and I never expected that to happen. I also did not expect such a rapid or extensive depreciation in share value to what we are looking at now.
Of course, none of this is as severe if you have been able to continue to accumulate shares and average down during this collapse. That was the main mistake I made, committing too much, too soon, thinking I had to get all in before she really took off. It was an expensive lesson, but one I will learn from, and an experience I will have for life.
