If I am MJFF or any other fund and a company is going full guns down a path, do I really need to grant them some money? Do I? What the heck, let them pay for it.
Now if there is something good, really good, that is very promising that I really would like to see moved forward, but it slowed for whatever reason. Would I mind kicking in a small percentage of my fund? Did I already kick in similar funds for another trial that was similar. Can I double down and increse my odds of finding the ultimate cure.

What's really increases our odds is each of them have multiple indications/use cases that cover off on 3 or more conditions. The odds of one winner is pretty darn good.
