Good comments, Dave. I feel a lot of our confusion

I have to admit that I knew little to nothing about the biotech world when I made my first investment in AMBS, but Gerald's blogs and the research posted by the company has taught me a great deal. I'm still a long way from the knowledge levels of those in research, but I do feel a great deal more knowledgeable and comfortable in my investment here than when I first started. Even so, there are still big gaps in my knowledge and understanding. That's where my trust in our CEO and management/advisors come into play. I don't blindly follow anyone, but he as proven (at least to me) he is honest and genuine in what he says. I understand he will make mistakes and possibly some bad calls along the way.
Perhaps going forward Gerald and company can better communicate how the data relates to specific company goals. It is just as important to understand what the data tells us as to what it does not tell us. It would appear that many who are bashing the data and the company are comparing it to what is needed for FDA approval for widespread use, and as has already been suggested here by another poster, the data thus far is geared toward CLIA lab participation and nothing more. The data needed for FDA approval and expansion into the broader medical market will be primarily generated in the CLIA labs. That seems to be my understanding of it, and hopefully Gerald will clarify this to shareholders in his upcoming blog.
Personally, I don't feel Gerald is to blame for this lack of understanding. He has a much higher level of understanding of all of this than we do because he grew up with his dad in a lab environment and he's been exposed to the science all of his life. Perhaps he feels he has adequately explained things to us, but maybe we're a lot dumber than he thinks we are. LOL What happened Thursday was unfortunate, but it was a fantastic buying opportunity for those who were wanting to invest more. I hope some took advantage of it. I would have if I'd had more to invest.
