I do not agree that "someone needs to reign him in". He is not the KING of AMBS nor does he make decisions alone. He has an excellent group of professionals whose job it is to assist and help guide him into making strategic decisions that benefit shareholders.
I do agree that 99% of CEO's do not do what he does. Most do not create blogs tha provide updates to shareholders. Most do not take time to communicate with investors via email or twitter and answer their questions. Also, I find GC to be very straight forward and sincere when questions are asked .... just like today. I am willing to give him an opportunity to share his "take aways" from today's conference and offer his thoughts on the 40% drop in price.
