I must say though that I've never fully understood "quiet periods". My thinking has always been that a fully reporting company should mean reporting to the share holders every much as to the SEC, et al. Marty says they are a fully reporting company that chooses to stay true to its principles. What principles?
I do not understand the need, or decision for a company to not provide pretty regular guidance. I mean if the SEC encourages companies or does not allow companies to put out guidance during certain periods then so be it. But that notwithstanding I do not see why a little general commenting, no need for specifics, is negative in any way. Because what it boils down to, particularly for a young small company like EWSI, is that shareholders are inevitably left swinging in the wind with rampant rumors and the PPS drops at a time the company is diluting and needs the highest PPS possible. Just doesn't make sense to me.
