the main navigation channel as shown by the line w arrows in both directions w multiple navigation beacons in the line of sight is a minimum of 16 meters to the main circle of navigation (delimited by 3 buoys-for commercial ships), from whence a harbor pilot can snake a 15 meter draft to the EIT berth which is officially a min of 14.5 meters-and those are the figures advertised for the port


However most of the port is much less-e.g cruise ship docking stations are no more than 10 meters and most of rest of port is less than that-the Cemex terminal would be to left of pic,the secondary channel for non-commercial ships is a minimum of 6 meters


the Ilia has been moored ca 5 miles in outward direction of the navigation channel waiting its turn-havent checked to see if its moved since this morning
