I agree completely steges. Actavis makes the most sense when you see they have nothing in their ART pipeline. They also already have a business relationship with Elite. They have to know about ELI 216. Those are interesting #'s about their lobbying efforts, I didn't know that.
I have also thought along the lines that a partner wanted BE data and the patents before signing. Wouldn't you if you were the partner too? I sure would. Now we have data to back up our Phase 2 data from years ago AND we have both patents to secure our technology. Seems like a slam dunk to me. If they don't partner and Novel isn't sold soon, meaning by the end of this year, I will have some concerns as well. I need to see something happen this year to keep the faith. But right now I have no concerns.
