Just a general comment that as we continue to consolidate to very large healthcare enterprises they are usually angling to be the “center of excellence” with “state of the art care” and as a rule that means being on the cutting edge of research. I have worked for some of the largest (UHC, Atrium/Advocate, Trinity Health Systems) and know this to be true…there is a standard of care doctors want to abide with but especially in hard to treat diseases the standard of care may mean being in a clinical trial so be careful not to assume the providers are not interested in a new therapy, especially one that is “paradigm shifting treatment.”
We will get there…open water ahead.
