Agreed, damages could be enormous but too speculative, which is why, most likely, there could be a LIQUIDATED DAMAGES clause in the agreement which is a pre-determined figure.
Everytime I post the words "liquidated damages" it gets deleted. Not sure why, as they are real and exist, and are often used on contracts of this nature.
