The unique thing about Vyrologix is a Swiss Army knife drug meaning it can treat many different types of diseases. So in this case I doubt if management would tell a partner they get the rights to sell every application of the drug that comes up. So my speculation is a large Pharma such as Abbvie , Merck etc licenses the drug for a specific application or applications . If the drug is in a pre approved state they may pay for the final leg of the trial also. Their sales people will sell to the doctors for whatever the agreement is made with Cytodyn. This arrangement makes the most sense because spinning up a sales and marketing team is very expensive and my belief is Cytodyn wont to make that investment at this point, probably never..The licensing most likely would be a lump sum or payments over a period of time and then some profit from the ongoing sales. That would be the first step at some point the partner would have the inside track to acquire Cytodyn . I don’t see Cytodyn as an independent entity 3-4 years from now ..
