My understanding is that EUA is precluded of there is already an approved alternative, but within the same approach.
Approval of Covid vaccine should preclude additional vaccine EUAs, forcing new applicants (I.e. Novavax) to go the full approval route.
Were Leronlimab approved, additional therapeutics would need full approval not EUA route.
Vaccines, as a preventative, should not be impacted. Who’s against our personal investment interest, prevention of severe disease with vaccination is preferable to treatment, regardless of the disease.
