Build, I don't have nearly the faith in the OTC that you do. 20 mm shares was what, around 1/3 of the total outstanding share count at the time of the retirement? And it received no benefit - none. But when dividends were paid, the adjustment in pps was immediate - even when the dividend was delayed there was a drop because someone at the OTC wasn't aware of the delay. That indicates to me that there is someone or something that is purposely holding back GNBT.
I don't doubt Joe will seize the moment and use the cash wisely - I just have zero faith that the OTC market will recognize the effort. Since I've seen this movie before, where we get a one time bump and then it drops back to where we started (or below, in some cases), I can't rationally say "this time will be different".
Look at those three PRs last week - good news, potentially bigger good news and then an update. And our pps is now 6 or 7 cents (15%) BELOW where it was when that news came out. That isn't normal, nor rational. So why in the future do you think the market will become rational by recognizing the value of cash or shares in another company?
Anyway, the main point was about the CC's and their impact (mostly lack of) to the pps on Wed & Thur. I see way too much pps optimism here based on history - it's fine, but I'm going with the old Charlie Brown comic - "when you expect nothing, you can't be disappointed".
Hope Joe conveys lots of info that will support confidence in GNBT over time. I just don't think it's going to move the pps, but it might make some sleep better while waiting for what's coming.
