H. H. Caborca, Sonora, April 6, 2020.- Penmont mining, subsidiary of Fresnillo plc, denounces and strongly rejects criminal actions committed a few days ago by a group of people who are said to be linked to individuals who are credited as ejidatarios of Ejido el Bajío, located in this city, although they are originally from Sinaloa and outside the region. The events occurred on the early morning of March 26, when an armed command raided private property of the company with luxury of violence.
This reprehensible act adds to the illegal actions that this group of criminals have been doing in recent weeks with extreme violence and use of thick guns.
His last act of intimidation left 14 people injured and five people who were initially missing and were found with physical injuries. For all these criminal acts, the company made the corresponding complaints.
