Hiding behind safe harbor is a load of garbage. I'm being blunt here. It's a cop out.
The CC and PRs stated plainly the dividends were tied together on the dates. Things can change, but those were set in stone together. The Dividends were postponed multiple times, but when they were finally done, they were done together and the date was given together. That was clear as day. Joe simply can't get around it.
Joe is doing this AFTER the fact. Once again, this will erode shareholder trust. He needs to make it right or shareholder will just chalk it up again to another misstep the management team that they screwed something else up.
