It would be severely disappointing if this is approved as currently proposed. Much of the world doesn't abide by the IP rules already, so eliminating them to our bordering countries that play more by the rules than other countries across the pond would be a huge mistake IMO.

If anything, more of the drug development burden should fall on those countries that did not pay for the research and development of the drug (within a fair a reasonable amount and applies to the US if developed externally also).
