The $25 million that we are talking about is just message board talk at this point. The two week period for a potential Rule 36 has just passed, so I'd be surprised if any negotiations have started.
I am very sure that J&J has a $ figure that they would be willing to offer in a settlement, and DECN also has a $ figure that they would agree to. In my opinion, the settlement offered by J&J will be in conjunction with some type of deal with Platinum. There are 3 parties in this discussion and there are several ways that this can be resolved.
KB is a shrewd business man, so I think he'll do a good job in negotiating for DECN. In my opinion, KB is motivated to settle this ahead of the judgement and so is J&J. I don't think any of us want this to drag out for another year or more.
