I remember a while ago there were number thrown around like a Settlement in the range between $40-80 Million. Well $25m looks like a disappointment on the surface. You wrote that the court Hearing was attended by some platinum people and after the hearing KB had lunch with them. So KB may be seen by J&J as crazy as you described it, but I don`t believe he is going for scorched earth. In other words if Platinum were the perfect Partner, and lifescan at the same time would infringe DECN`s patents, how would that all baked in the cake? I could imagine a little lower settlement with J&J as a give and take signaling that DECN would maybe not going to sue Platinum might prepare the bed in which all involved parties could imagine to jump in.
