I just want to point that 14% HIV drug resistant patients is for transmitted drug resistance in USA and not total...
Total in USA is predicted for 2020 ,
over 260,000 MDR 2 and
about 20,000 MDR 3 patients,
So about 20-22 % of all HIV positive patients in USA will be MDR 2 or higher in 2020.
We can see that by now we have little more transmitted cases of resistance than acquired.
And the longer we have without good medicine to treat those transmitted and other resistant patients , the higher those numbers will be. !!!
So FDA , please do the job asap...
