How big was your trade? I haven't had an order under 30,000 fail to fill if I put it $0.01 above the ask as long as the shares are on offer on level 2 and I uncheck AON.
If you're trying to fill more than that at one time you may need to up your price or break the order down. They often won't bite on bigger blocks.
