mikey, as you well know, a RS does not give you any financial gain-it is usually done to save or improve a financial condition-in the case of RAD, I suspect it is to not get de-listed from the NYSE. The problem is if after the RS, the PPS continues to go down-then you are really in trouble. As I see it, currently RAD has nothing huge to cause the PPS to jump up simply by doing a RS. However, a merger after the RS would be the catalyst to shoot the PPS up.
