Sanofi facing criminal charges for knowingly persisting with its dengue vaccination program in the Phillippines, despite (according to the Philippines government) having in-house data that such vaccinations had a high risk of causing death. They're looking at homicide charges.
Probably wasn't the best idea to gloat to shareholders about the billions they were going to make off of this vaccination program, and then having a lot of people get sick and/or die.

I mention this because in the past it has been alleged that Sanofi helped fund basher attacks and bear raids on stocks that it wanted to acquire cheaply.
When you have a company that allegedly has a corporate culture that not only allows but rewards people who do things like this, it makes those past allegations more credible.
"By their words shall you know them" seems like a pretty accurate summation of that situation, and is good to remember in other applications too.
